We host several annual competitions including our signature Vaisakhi and Diwali golf tournaments which allow golfers from across the community to meet, socialise and improve their golf.

A programme to encourage school children get into the traditionally elite sport of golf was launched in 2008.

This flourishing initiative has enabled one junior, Adden Syed, to secure a scholarship at a University in Texas.

Kiran Matharu, now a female English professional, was supported by the Society and is currently playing on the Ladies European Tour.

Over a hundred children of primary school age, mainly from disadvantaged backgrounds, have had golf lessons who would otherwise have not considered the sport.

In 2011 the Society’s volunteers provided free golf lessons for young girls at the Rose Foundation, a domestic violence prevention organisation n Kenya.
